The heart of yearning for liberty is within us through the Holy Spirit. And if we know God, and we know that we’re not just an amphibian that has evolved into a biped, that we’re not just some kind of advanced ape, we know that we have a relationship with the Creator, God Almighty, who is a God of love and has given humanity free will and freedom as the greatest gift! We know that, and we have that relationship, and no one can snuff out that flame that resides within. You can do all the gulags, all the death camps, all the concentration camps you want; you cannot snuff out that heart that the Spirit has given. God’s Epic Quest, p. 4
God was with Moses. He was with the people of Israel. Even though they were not perfect, even though they were slaves, ; even though they were slaves He was with them. And because of that supernatural presence exemplified by the pillar of smoke and the pillar of fire, God showed them, “Not only am I here with you; I’m standing with you on the frontline in battle. You’re not in this alone.” Christ said, “I have not forsaken thee.” He does not forsake us; he stands with us on the battlefield. God’s Epic Quest, p. 5-6

Re: PA “Forensic Audit” of 2020 POTUS Election[PART CCCXC] – Brennan/NPR Warnings
Chris Wright aggregates Early Warnings (on Liberato.UShttp://EarlyWarnings - Liberato.US)) that are often thematic and that provide hyperlinks that are accompanied by incisive commentary; this week, he focused on what has emerged from the Brennan Center and (taxpayer-funded) NPR. He quoted from The Godfather and another is apt: “Keep friends close and enemies closer.” Here, the takeaway is that the precinct project has proven potent and merits more promotion; a key-quote on Mastriano lawn-signs[John 8:36] notes communities must walk free. {Relocated was a Roll Call piece that reviews how the Brandon Budget fund selections.}
“Tracking the Big Lie in Races for Election Administration Positions“ (https://www.brennancenter.org/series/election-denial-races-election-administration-positions) noted races for offices that administer elections were formerly sleepy contests for largely unknown bureaucrats, but the Big Lie of a “stolen” 2020 election has created national attention. Thus, now, the Brennan Center is tracking candidates’ statements about USA’s democracy’s legitimacy as it focuses resources on crucial elections in ten swing states; each state’s page will be updated in the11/2022 runup, when those who will run future elections will be elected.
“Election Workers feel (https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/how-congress-can-help-protect-election-workers) Threatened[I]” noted nearly 80% of election officials think the federal government is either doing nothing to support them or taking some steps but not doing enough. Thus, “Congress should do its part to protect the workers who protect our elections by authorizing grants that can be used for physical safety training, including prevention and de-escalation training. Note: Attempted federalizing of the 2022 elections through executive order is possible and could leave little time for judicial recourse. To poison the well for such an eventuality, we must remind everyone of the constitutional primacy of the states in election issues, including the physical safety of electoral staff.
“Election Workers feel (https://www.npr.org/2022/04/07/1091259210/new-election-workers-georgia-wisconsin)Threatened[II]” noted that, as election workers are leaving their roles amid a contentious national environment, a new crop of public servants is stepping into fill the void. A recent survey by the Brennan Center for Justice (https://www.npr.org/2022/03/10/1085425464/1-in-5-local-election-officials-say-theyre-likely-to-quit-before-2024) foundthat 20% of them say they are unlikely to continue working in the 2024 election cycle, citing harassment, stress and other challenges. Note: The issue of “vote insecurity” keeps reappearing in the corporate and leftist media, and the Senate and House Republicans need to hold the line against attempts to federalize the elections under the pretext of insecurity. They need to preempt this possibility by passing a Secure Vote Act, announcing funding of dedicated local police forces in each state, answering to local sheriffs, and investigating the cases of intimidation of the members of both parties.
“We Need Zuckerbucks (https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/big-outside-spending-election-denial-floods-local-elections-battleground)in Future Elections” noted that early data for this election cycle already show an explosion in out-of-state donations to secretary of state candidates in battlegrounds. “Outside spending from super PACs and dark money groups will play a big role this year. In Green Bay, Wisconsin, out-of-state groups questioned the legitimacy of the 2020 elections to try to influence local races that will affect the way the 2024 elections are run. Green Bay has been a target of election denial, mostly focused on the city’s acceptance of charitable donations from the Center for Tech and Civic Life, funded largely by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. The sense that candidates lost messaging control to national groups is highlighted by the fact that some candidates were overwhelmingly outspent by outside interests.” Note: The Brennan Center is concerned that the patriotic outside groups outspent Zuckerberg and are more effective in promoting candidates. This is an implicit admission that outside funding impacts electoral results - refer back to 2020.
“The Left Suddenly Discovered the virtues (https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/analysis-opinion/lessons-how-conduct-credible-post-election-audits)of Audits” noted that, “While both the census task force and Cyber Ninjas purported to provide independent oversight of a technical process crucial to a functioning democracy, the former consisted of experts conducting a fair, informed, and transparent audit, while the latter lacked each of these necessary components of credibility. As the next election cycle looms and politicians around the country continue (https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/voting-laws-roundup-february-2022) topursue partisan election reviews (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/house-oversight-investigating-new-mexico-audit-force-rcna20387),the differences between these two efforts can shed valuable light on how credible audits can and should work. [Cyber Ninjas] was found in contempt of court and fined tens of thousands of dollars, after which it promptly dissolved,[perhaps because it] had no background in election review.” Note: The matter-of-fact mentioning of audits is something new, for these people were rabidly resisting any audit just 12 months ago, until Arizona broke the ice and they realized that fighting integrity so openly is more damaging than trying to subvert the effort. Throughout the article, the author berates Cyber Ninja (the company hired to audit Arizona in March 2021) and extolls Census Task Force. Recall that a Kansas court rejected Hans Von Spakovsky, great hero of the political Right, as an expert witness in an elections case because he lacked the requisite expertise. The Right needs to up its game and develop expert capabilities so its evaluations of election processes cannot so easily be questioned.
“Left defends (https://www.npr.org/2022/03/31/1088252896/private-funding-saved-the-2020-election-now-some-gop-led-states-are-banning-it)Zuckbucks, as drumbeat starts for private financing of 2022/2024 elections ”noted that, for voting officials, money from the private sector leading up to the 2020 election was a lifeline. Thanks to the roughly $10 million it received in donated funds, Philadelphia could buy high-speed machines to sort mail ballots by ward and precinct. After voting ended in 2020, more than a dozen states — all with Republican-controlled state legislatures — have enacted laws that prevent local election officials from accepting donations like they did leading up to that election. Some feel funding should come from the government, precluding criticism that a partisan group has engaged in suasion. “Perception-wise, it’s cleaner,” said David Maeda, the state elections director in Minnesota. “The problem has always been getting that [funding].”

There Will Always Be An Emergency - The Assault On Our Liberties Has Just Begun
At the heart of the debate over COVID-19 restrictions is the distinction between rights and privileges. For most of human history some supreme authority, – a king, a sultan, a class of aristocrats – has presumed to grant to the common people certain privileges. By definition, as privileges, they can be granted, and they can be taken away.
The American concept of liberty is built on something fundamentally different. We do not enjoy privileges. We have rights. They are enshrined in the Constitution, but they are given to us by our Creator. We do not have the right to free speech, because some ‘body of humans’ granted it to us. We were born with it, and it cannot betaken away.
For two years now powerful interests in this country have attempted to change this. They have used all the power at their discretion to convert our rights into privileges that can be taken away whenever the powers that be decide some “emergency” requires it.
The real danger therein is obvious. Once you have enshrined the principle that an “emergency” justifies the revocation of God-given rights, it requires only the declaration of an “emergency” to do it again. And again.
Once this would have seemed the stuff of bad dystopian science fiction. No longer. Now it is as real as it gets.
This week the International Energy Agency (IEA) proposed (https://www.iea.org/news/emergency-measures-can-quickly-cut-global-oil-demand-by-2-7-million-barrels-a-day-reducing-the-risk-of-a-damaging-supply-crunch) that all Western economies should impose measures to reduce the use of oil. These measures are required to deal with the “emergency” caused by rising fuel prices. They include:
1. Reducing speed limits on highways by at least 10 km/h.
2. Directing people to work from home up to three days a week. No word on what all those people who have jobs that actually require them to be on-site in restaurants, garages, laboratories, factories, etc. are supposed to do.
3. Decreeing car-free Sundays in cities. Presumably, this is based on the premise that everybody we really care about has Sunday off and lives somewhere other than a city.
4. Making the use of public transport cheaper and incentivizing micro-mobility, walking, and cycling. Leaving aside the fact that I literally have no idea what micro-mobility is, a very large number of Americans live in suburbs or rural areas not served by public transport, and those folks with two-hour commutes might find the whole walking to work thing a bit much, but presumably, all of the cool kids involved in drafting these proposals will be just fine.
5. Mandating alternate day private car access to roads in large cities. I guess this works fine for those folks who can continue working from home, but it is a little hard to see how the guy or gal who actually has to show up for work at the police department or the hospital every day is supposed to deal with only being able to commute every 48 hours.
6. Increase car-sharing and adopt practices to reduce fuel use. One wonders if the people who come up with these ideas have ever considered that coworkers do not necessarily live near each other. If I work 25 miles east of my home and my next-door neighbor works 25 miles west, how precisely are we supposed to share cars?
7. Promoting efficient driving for freight trucks and delivery of goods. Presumably, this is based on the assumption that freight delivery companies have no interest in making a profit and are currently delivering goods in the most expensive and wasteful manner possible.
8. Using high-speed and night trains instead of planes where possible. Many decades ago, the United States had a vast network of passenger trains. It was dismantled because cars and planes made it economically non-viable.
9. Avoiding business air travel where alternative options exist. The key here is that it won’t be you who decides whether or not those alternative options are viable.
10. Reinforcing the adoption of electric and more efficient vehicles. You may live in the country, need a pickup truck for work, and not be able to park your vehicle overnight every time your batteries go dead. No one cares. Move to the city and get a job with a liberal non-profit and fall in line.
Snarky comments aside, the real issue with these proposals obviously, is that the people who drafted this actually believe that they have the power to make these decisions for you. They decide where you live, what kind of car you drive, when you can drive it, how far, etc. There is an emergency you understand.
There will always be an emergency.
Lest you think a proposal from the International Energy Agency is unlikely to make much of an impact herein the States, let’s take stock of all the things our Transportation Secretary has already proposed in regard to restrictions on driving:
· Taxing you on how many miles you drive.
Biden's Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says taxing you by the number of miles you drive your car "shows a lot of promise"! Buttigieg: Mileage Tax to Fund Infrastructure ‘Shows a Lot of Promise’ Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said Friday (March 26) on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” that to fund President Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill, a tax on mileage traveled looks promising. |
(https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021/03/26/buttigieg-mileage-tax-to-fund-infrastructure-shows-a-lot-of-promise/)
· Telling you to replace your vehicle with an electric one.
· Raising airline ticket prices.
· Telling you to take the bus.

· More bike lanes.
· More bus lanes.
· Lower speed limits.
BUTTIGIEG VOWS MORE BIKE, BUS LANES, LOWER SPEED LIMITS Pete Buttigieg PromisesMore Bike and Bus Lanes, Lower Speed Limits Pete Buttigieg vowed to help stem traffic fatalities by approving more dedicated bus and bike lanes, speed cameras and lower speed limits. January 27th 2022
· Subsidizing trains.
Cécile Lecoq @Cecile_Lecoq
Future U.S. transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg: “If anybody says we shouldn’t subsidize trains — think about just how many ways we subsidize driving, which is among the most carbon intensive things we could be doing.” (https://nyc.streetsblog.org/2020/12/15/what-will-mayor-pete-mean-for-the-u-s-dot/)
December16th 2020
And it isn’t just the Boy Wonder Buttigieg who has these ideas. At least a dozen states are pushing the federal government to phase out all gas-powered vehicles (https://www.hotcars.com/these-twelve-states-want-biden-to-ban-gas-powered-vehicles-by-2035/).Several states (e.g. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/09/09/new-york-law-phases-out-most-gas-powered-vehicles-by-2035.html)have proceeding on their own to do so. Don’t know how you will be able to work or maintain your business once that happens? That’s your problem.
Schumer calling for Biden to call a "climate emergency" so they can have emergency powers that don't need legislation. (https://twitter.com/English_Citizen/status/1504783588755054593?s=20&t=K4kC2hmlsePh4wOrr1YxMw)
Power-hungry politicians and bureaucrats have glimpsed the Promised Land. Declare an emergency and suddenly the Bill of Rights and the Constitution mean nothing. No need for a Congress. No need to consult the rabble.
Presidents and Governors are now Kings and Queens. New laws are winked into existence with the stroke of a pen. It is all far too good to give up. Democracy is far too messy and slow.
If you thought this was ending with the dropping of mask mandates, you were sadly mistaken. The assault on our liberties has just begun.

Amazon's description of "Lockdown" :
“A crucial warningfor Americans about the left’s never-ending lust to steal individual liberties— and the power of God to stop it.” — Everett Piper, Bestselling Authorof Grow Up!
"Don’t put offreading this book and regret that you failed to realize the threat we face.” —Gov. Mike Huckabee
LOCKDOWN is a terrifying story of not only freefall of American freedoms during the opening stages of the COVID pandemic, but the dangerous growth of government power that continues today.
LOCKDOWN is a warning that the extraordinary powers invoked by left-wing Democrats and others, justified by claims of public health and safety, have begun the unravelling of America’s constitutional order andour most cherished freedoms.
Using COVID-19 as a cover, Democrat leaders and their bureaucratic health advisers seized powers the Constitution never gave them, and ordered citizens to stay off streets and out of public parks, banned them from their workplaces, closed down their schools, and made church attendance a crimes — even as these same leaders and their left-leaning cronies blithely, arrogantly, and outrageously allowed mass protests, kept open abortion clinics and did as they pleased.
Relying on her trademark aggressive reporting style, Cheryl K. Chumley explains how the radical left is using pandemic policies as a template for increasing controls over the lives of citizens as they build a one-party, socialist state in America.
A sequel to her bestselling Socialists Don’t Sleep, in LOCKDOWN, Chumley exposes how hypocritical, elitist, and radical leftists are still using the coronavirus to score political points and steal individual rights – as the original pandemic served as dress rehearsal in the march toward the new fascism.

Dr. John Lott has shared a few notes with us back on Mar 19, we can release them now.
I haven't posted it yet on our website, but on Friday I learned that Public Choice, an academic journal that applies economics to politics, accepted my empirical research showing vote fraud during the November 2020 presidential election (https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3756988). Although all the news media is constantly editorializing in news articles that there is no evidence of vote fraud, even Fox News, it is surprising that most Americans believe that vote fraud affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/rasmussen-reports-survey-most-voters-think-that-cheating-affected-the-outcome-of-the-2020-presidential-election/).Amazingly, another new survey shows all ages, races, parties, ideologies, incomes, and education levels (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/rasmussen-reports-survey-photo-ids-to-vote-supported-by-all-ages-all-races-all-parties-all-ideologies-all-incomes-all-educations/) support photo voter IDs. I am very proud of this new research, and I hope you will look at it (https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3756988). In about a week, I hope to start getting it some attention.
With Alabama (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/alabama-becomes-the-22nd-constitutional-carry-state/) and Ohio (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/ohio-becomes-the-23rd-constitutional-carry-state/) becoming the 22nd and 23rd Constitutional Carry states and Nebraska and Indiana (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/nebraska-state-senate-has-enough-votes-to-overcome-a-filibuster-on-constitutional-carry/) looking to likely join them soon, Professor Carl Moody, our research director, and I have published new research on the impact of concealed handgun laws and Constitutional Carry on murder rates (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/published-research-do-right-to-carry-laws-still-reduce-violent-crime/). By the way, while the CPRC was less involved in passing Ohio's Constitutional Carry law than we were in educating people in other states, the Executive Director of the Buckeye Firearms Association (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/a-note-from-the-executive-director-of-the-buckeye-firearms-association-thanking-the-cprc-for-our-research-on-constitutional-carry-laws/) wrote us a very nice note saying how important our research was in getting their law passed.
This past Monday, I testified before Connecticut's Joint Assembly and Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on a range of gun controllaws(https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/cprcs-testimony-before-connecticuts-joint-assembly-and-senate-judiciary-committee-on-legislation-expanding-gun-free-zones-and-the-states-assault-weapons-ban/), from creating gun-free zones to an expanded assault weapon ban. It went well, and people told me that my testimony made a difference.
If you have the time, I would strongly recommend the interview that I had with Larry Elder for Epoch Times (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/worth-watching-larry-elder-with-epoch-times-gun-control-myths-how-politicians-the-media-and-botched-studies-ignore-basic-facts-on-gun-control/). It largely focused on my most recent book, Gun Control Myths (https://www.amazon.com/Gun-Control-Myths-politicians-botched/dp/B08C95PD1K/ref=pd_bxgy_img_1/133-2149164-9424358?pd_rd_w=mIIiz&pf_rd_p=c64372fa-c41c-422e-990d-9e034f73989b&pf_rd_r=JTJF6AD46AW0G6XN2TZ3&pd_rd_r=2859765f-c7a7-46d5-b6f0-5ec029296295&pd_rd_wg=p9TqC&pd_rd_i=B08C95PD1K&psc=1&pldnSite=1). YouTube blocked our account for two-and-a-half weeks this year. Iwrote about our experienceat Townhall (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/at-townhall-social-media-censorship-particularly-hits-those-without-political-connections/). In another op-ed, I explained how Democrats are moving towards using financial regulations to put gun makers (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/at-townhall-social-media-censorship-particularly-hits-those-without-political-connections/) and sellers as well as oil companies out of business
Newsweek had very long quotes from me (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/cprc-discussed-extensively-at-newsweek-impact-of-russian-invasion-of-ukraine-on-the-gun-debate-in-the-us/) about how Russia's invasion of Ukraine is changing Eastern Europe's views on guns (e.g., Lithuania has seen a large increase in gun sales (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/gun-sales-soaring-in-lithuania-up-eightfold-applications-for-licenses-to-own-guns-double/)). This past week, one fun occurrence, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro Tweeted a call (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/brazilian-president-jair-bolsonaro-tweets-call-out-to-cprc-john-lott/) out to me.
And, of course, we continue our examples of television media bias on guns (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/cbs-pushing-false-notion-about-plastic-guns/) and cases of defensive gun uses by people who are legally carrying guns (https://crimeresearch.org/2022/03/defensive-gun-uses-by-people-legally-carrying-guns-23-cases-during-november-2021/).
